Welcome to my tribute to on of the best children's miniseries ever: Shelley Duvall's Faerie Tale Theatre. I decided to make
this webpage because I, like most kids from the eighties, grew up loving these movies. I hope I'm not the only one that remembers
them.
My personal favorites have always been The Dancing Princesses and The Princess and the Pea, but they are all wonderful.
The series was started by Shelley Duvall (who produced them, starred in four episodes and introduced every one) in 1982. It
first aired on Showtime in January of 1982, and last aired in November of 1987. The various episodes proved very popular and
hundreds of Duvall's fellow stars were anxious to appear in them.
